Dear Richard  I remember how creative you were in grammar school. I remember you showing us the cartoons that you made page by page and flipping the scetch book to make the cartoons come to life. I was so impressed. You were a nice boy and a great artist.  No wonder Dream Works saw your potential. Rest In Peace

Rich was a good friend back in grammar school. We both lived on Janssen, so we walked back from school a lot. At recess, we'd sometimes walk up the alley between Paulina and Marshfield, to Grace (?), and hit the candy store ( forgot the name)  near the little playground. I remember one day we both decided to see who could drink an entire quart of chocolate milk; I didn't feel so good afterwords. We spent a lot of time travelling to our basketball games, and hit Italian Boy for a meatball sandwich once in a while. Rich had an older brother, Robert who gave us insight as to what high school would be like. Rich was a fun guy with quite an imagination. Rest in Peace, Rich.
